Casio’s ProTrek line of rugged tool watches has pursued the ultimate in outdoor gear since 1995. From the first watch with a GPS sensor to high-tech quad-sensors, ProTrek has continually pushed the boundaries of tool watches for three decades.
The ProTrek PRG-340 is the next step in ProTrek’s commitment to reducing environmental impact through sustainable materials. The 51.7mm watch features a resin case and silicone strap created with recycled materials, the new Dura Soft strap’s unique finish is a direct result of this process. The PRG-340 series features 100m of water resistance and sensors designed for life out of doors — thermometer, barometer, and altimeter — coupled with a digital compass to aid in navigation, all visible through the watch’s new dual-layer LCD display.
Powering the Pro Trek PRG-340 series is Casio’s Tough Solar 3513 module. Powered by light, it features altimeter, barometer, thermometer, digital compass, world time, 1/100-second stopwatch, 60-minute countdown timer, 5 daily alarms and hour time signal, LED light, and full-auto calendar (to 2099) complications, accuracy of /- 15 seconds per month, and a power reserve of approximately 7 months.
